Nikki tagged me to play along, so here goes. I’m supposed to tell 5 random things about myself and 5 places I would like to see/see again. Thanks for tagging me, Nikki, b/c I needed some ideas!

1. I cannot stand to hear people swallowing when they eat or drink.

2. I was a tomboy when I was a kid. Instead of playing with dolls, I preferred trucks. I pronounced truck “f_ck”.  The only doll that I owned was carried around by her hair and she was naked most of the time. My mom must have been worried. I also enjoyed making forts in the woods. Thankfully, my parents were fine with it and they didn’t give me a complex.

3. I use a toothpaste and mouthwash called “Therabreath” because I am paranoid about bad breath. Before Jared and I got married, I would hide it under my cabinet when he came over because I was embarrassed. On our wedding night, I couldn’t hide it anymore, so I told him. His response: “I can’t believe my wife has dragon breath!”

4. I was the matron of honor in my friend, Carla’s wedding. (We’ve been friends since 1st grade) I was responsible for her husband’s ring and left it in my make-up bag. During the exchanging of the rings, I realized I didn’t have it and she had to pretend she was putting his ring on his finger, while I stood there completely red-faced. It was AWFUL!

5.  I don’t dance.  I hate going to weddings where there is dancing because I always feel so stupid if I even attempt to dance.  I think it’s because all of my friends laughed at me in the 7th grade when I was on the cheerleading squad and I tried to do the “Roger Rabbit” for a dance we were doing.

Places I’d like to see/see again:

1.  Pakistan ( I was there in ‘99 and would love to go back someday.  The Himilayas are breathtaking.)

2.  California- I’ve never been anywhere on the West Coast, so really anywhere from CA to WA would be awesome.

3.  Greenland

4.  Colorado- It is by far the most beautiful state I’ve ever visited.

5.   Egypt-I’d love to go see all of the things Gage and I studied this past year.

Missy Higgins. This girl is AWESOME. I got her album, “Sound of White”, from the library a few months ago and I’m addicted. Tonight, I found her on myspace and discovered that she has a new album out, but you can only buy it on itunes. I think I’m gonna have to do it. If you go to her website, you can hear all of the songs on her new album and read the lyrics at the same time.
