Nostalgia in the Midst of Chaos…..
Today (well, actually this week) has just been one of those days. You know, the kind of day that you realize you have a $38 library fine, try to pay it, and are told you can only pay with cash or check. And, that was after you tracked all the overdue books down, loaded them in the car, unloaded them, carefully balancing the books on top of the stroller your 2 year old rides in while whining for a rock he left in the car and also telling you he needs to go pee. The kind of day when you fold a whole pile of laundry, only to come back into the room to see it all toppled
over onto the floor. Well, I’m happy to report that in the middle of all this chaos, 2 songs played on the radio, taking me back to the early 90’s. Ahhh, those were the days. No care in the world…………………………other than how to get my bangs to stand up without burning myself with the curling iron. Oh, and how to keep my jeans tightly rolled at the bottom with my “slouch” socks perfectly “slouched”. Sit back and enjoy this cheap therapy! (those of you who are old enough to remember!)

okay…I couldn’t resist but commenting on this. You always had the best hair back in the day. Remember how you would make it kinda fly out on the side. You know…hold the rave hairspritz bottle and spritz as you blow dry. Gosh…you were such a cool 90’s girl! Anyways, I saw Wilson Philips..and I can’t think of a group that could possibly make me think of you more. THOSE WERE THE DAYS!
