The Logic of a 2 Year Old
Mom:”Shea, why did you write on the wall?”
Shea: “‘Cause that’s why I write on wall.”
Mom: “Why did you hit your brother?”
Shea:Â “mmmmm…….’cause that’s why I hit my brother.”
Mom:Â “Why are you throwing your blocks across the room?”
Shea:Â “‘Cause that’s why I throw my blocks across room.”
Reverse scenario:
Shea: “Mom, what you doin’?”
Mom: “I’m cooking dinner.”
Shea:Â “Why you cooking dinner, Mommy?”
Mom:Â “So we don’t starve.”
Shea:Â “Why?”
Mom:Â “Because if we don’t eat we will starve.”
Shea:Â “Why?”
Mom:Â “Because our bodies have to have food to live.”
Shea:Â “Why, Mom?”
Mom:Â “Because that’s why we have to eat.”
Shea: “Oh.” Walks away satisfied with the answer. Works both ways apparently.

Shea is so cute and hilarious. I’m sad I missed you this morning when I brought over Jared’s delivery!
Oh how I miss my nephews, but oh how thankful I am that Cayla is not in that stage anymore! That is great! I love you and because I have such an awesome best friend, I may be coming sooner to see you than I thought!
April-I know! I wish I had been able to see you, too! Thanks for the special delivery!
Em- Ok, you need to call me and fill me in on all of this! When are you coming?!!!!!
I dont know for sure and to be quite honest with you, maybe I am not going to tell you and let it be a surprise! I have to talk to Karis and see what her schedule is as far as going out there and we will see from there! But dont expect to know until I show up at your door! I gotta keep you on edge. He he he!!! Mwah ha ha ha ha ha ha!
Lyra, that’s hilarious and I completely understand. Except that ours goes, “Why Mom? Because.” She answers herself now that she’s heard it so much!
I laughed out loud! I hope you learned you lesson!
