I’m Coming Back!
It has been way too long since I posted here. I have spent a little while looking over old posts, and feel inspired to get it going again.
I came across a picture of Bryn and Shea from our year of 2009 in Wilmington, NC and began thinking through just how much has changed since then. And, what a year 2009 was for us!
If you’re reading this, let me know! I need all of the encouragement I can get to start this up again. Life is full! And, I’d like to share it here from time to time.
“See” you soon!

So glad Iread your story. I would like to first say that with God at my side and much hard work on my part, I have been blessed to live a “normal life” for many years. I am bi-polar and had my first episode psychosis in 1981 and my first episode of post partum psychosis in Greece in 1982. I was on the vacation of a lifetime and fell in love with a Greek gentleman. I became pregnant and the pregnancy was ectopic. Long stories, so I will just say I became psychotic, mistaken as a drug user, beaten, and raped and ended up in a “snake-pit” in Athens, Greece for 1 month during shich time I also had surgery. It took me about a year to recover. I put my life back together, married, and five years later had my beautiful daughter, Sarah. I had another episode of post-partum psychosis. Once again with the help of God, I put my life back together. Both stories are very long and if you would like more details, please contact me. Treatment is helpful, but without faith and the ability to forgive yourself, I doubt that any of us would be well now. I have tried in many ways throughout the years to be involved with helping others and let them see (through me) that recovery is possible.
