About

My husband, Jared and I moved to St. Louis in 2006 for him to attend Covenant Seminary full time. We have loved the city of STL and I’ve enjoyed taking our two boys (ages 9 and 3) all over, exploring the fun things to do. I’ve most enjoyed throwing our bikes on the back of the van and riding many of the trails in the area. We’ve discovered over the past couple of years that we love exploring nature with our boys, and we have a dream of one day purchasing a pop-up camper. I know, we dream big!

Things that make me happy are taking pictures of nature and my family, doing random creative projects around the house, Starbucks, listening to Pandora, being married to Jared, watching my kids learn, hanging out with friends, having meaningful conversations with my 9 y ear old, watching God move in the world around me and being a part of what He is doing, Spring and Fall weather, reading a good book, other people’s art, thrift store shopping, and the list could go on and on.

Some daily frustrations include putting my kids to bed and picking up messes constantly. Or, just living in a mess because I’m sick of picking it up. Making a list puts it all into perspective, though. My “happy things” far outweigh the frustrations I endure, on most days.
